ERIQ HAYLES

ERIQ - An accomplished MUSIC DIRECTOR & CONDUCTOR for an 18 piece BIG-BAND, (a jazz orchestra of six saxes, five trumpets, four trombones & a rhythm section), a 25 piece String Orchestra and a 35 voice Jazz Chorus & Gospel Choir in Oakland. With the ability to arrange and score music from piano/vocal to full orchestra for any type of ensemble, in any style, by ear, utilizing the God-given gift of "PERFECT PITCH" to write & arrange and score music, from piano/vocal to full-orchestra for any type of ensemble, in any style all by ear, while away from the piano. 

Completed a Musical/Romance Novel titled: MY MELODY - "The Musical". And near completion of a full-scale Broadway Musical Review titled: MY MELODY - "The Musical", completed with a script (in conjunction with the novel), songs (music &words), A Fully Orchestrated and Arranged Overture (opening and closing music for first & second acts, and an international dance finale’, five movements,), and a logo for the Broadway Musical.

A Composer/Arranger with  projects in the works:

• Currently writing another Full-Scale Broadway Musical stage- play, including script, songs, music & arrangements. 
• Composed a catalogue of over 25 musical works, including songs (music & words) and musical arrangements.

A published Author/Lyricist & Playwright with projects in the works:   

• Composed a catalogue of over 25 musical works, including song lyrics & poems.
• Wrote literary works of novels, scripts, song lyrics, poems and short stories.
